The Digital Switchover has already started, with view to complete by 2012 when UK Television Broadcasting will be entirely digital. Digital TV is also known as Freeview TV, with this also being available on the digital signal.

Region by Region the country is already beginning to turn off analogue signal broadcasting, and much of the country can already receive the Digital TV signal, and watch the Freeview.

With access to a clear digital TV signal, you can have access to a whole new variety of Freeview channels, as well as pay for selected digital channels. This will bring you a whole new variety of entertainment, sport, current affairs and interactive channels, as well as music radio and TV for free!

There are currently approximately 48 Digital TV & 24 digital Radio channels available, with the digital signal offering greater clarity of sound and picture than analogue signal, it seems a waste to wait until 2012 to benefit from this technology!
